Hanging over 5000 km square with the population of 6000 people, with lush greenery of mountain ranges is just the beginning of your expedition to the jade of Far East. The old Frence-built hill station of Sapa (1600m above sea level) is the natural starting point for a unique experience of the Sapa area. This includes the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, and Indochinas highest peaks, Fansipan (3143m), and 6 different ethnic minority groups, each one colorful, distinct and with its own language and cultural values. The trek brings you though the excellent views of the valley, the magnificent limestone and paddy fields of H'mong village will be introduced, visits to local families and reach their customs and the Cat Cat waterfall will be visible. A "White curtain" cascade appears, surrounded by flowery valley and deep - green pines. The rocks near the river and waterfall provide a marvelous place for picturesque photos and sunbathing during good weather.
Day 1: Hanoi Lao Cai (Dinner)
Arrive in Hanoi by morning flight. Pick up at the airport and make excursion to home of water puppet art, Quoc Oai, 30km from Hanoi. Visit Tay Phuong to sight the finest collection of wooden Buddha statues and Thay Pagoda. Return Hanoi and have dinner at Hotel. Transfer to Hanoi train station for night train to Lao Cai etd 22.00 hrs. Overnight on Victoria carriage.
Day 2: Lao Cai Bac Ha - Sapa (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Upon arrival in Lao Cai (eta : 0530), transfer to Bac Ha. Simple breafast at local restaurant. Visit the colourful Bac Ha Market full of montagnards from surrounding villages. They dress their most colourful costumes and head to the market to exchange goods or sell self-made souvenirs. Walking tour at Ban Pho Village then drive to Sapa. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way leading towards Sapa, a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the Victoria Sapa Hotel. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa Ta Van Cat Cat Sapa (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel Fullday tour:A 8-km on the rim of a deep valley, followed by 30-minutes walk take you to so-called rattan bridge & the ethnic Ta Van village which is dwelled by Dzay people followed by a walking visit to Cat Cat village. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa (Breakfast)
Breakfast at hotel a.m. Visit Ta Phin village. Lying in a hillside meadow, it is home to Red Dzao and Hmong people. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Lao Cai and board on the night train to Hanoi etd 18.45 hrs. Dinner and overnight Victoria carriage.
Day 5: Hanoi (Breakfast)
Early arrival in Hanoi eta 04.20 hrs. You can keep the cabin until 07.00 hours. Transfer to Hotel in Hanoi. Breakfast and half day use.
